What Training Methods do you use to achieve success with the dogs you train?
We use science backed techniques to teach your pup exactly what we want and expect from them. We begin by finding your' pups main motivators and using them to classically condition them to imprint the commands that we desire. We lure them into the desired position, capture the position with a marker, and continue to shape the position through repetition and positive reinforcement. We will continue to shape and refine your dogs training by using all four quadrants of operant conditioning to teach them through the consequences of their actions. This sequence along with strong consistency will provide a reliable and trained dog that will only strengthen over time. But remember, TRAINING NEVER STOPS!!!
What types of dogs does Neon Capital Shepards train?
We train all breeds and sizes dogs! We also train dogs that have behavioral issues, including aggression, both with people and other dogs.

We specialize in behavioral science based training methods to help you communicate with your pup in a way that they understand.
When can I start training my dog?
It is never too early to start training! However we do want to keep our pups safe. We require that all puppies have all their vaccinations before starting their training with us. This normally occurs at 16 weeks old.
How is your training structured?
We offer private one on one training as well as board and train. We do not offer group classes. We encourage all members of the family to be involved in the training. Classes move at your pups pace. A curriculum is established on your first session.
